Two Birds [Song fic}: Reader x Davesprite

  {Two birds on a wire}

[Name] were still trying to learn everyone's name. A orange dude with wings floated passed her.

 "You're Dave,right?The one who brought me here." She got him to look over to her.

  "Yeah.I'm known as Davesprite here, in this timeline."

 "We both don't belong here,huh?" She smiled at him.

   "I guess so."He smiled slightly but quickly regain his poker face.

 [Name] and him both stuck together.They both were the same.They two grew close in a short amount of time.

  {One tries to fly away and the other watches him close from that wire.}

 [Name] started to drift apart from Davesprite.She became closer to the real Dave as she others put it.Davesprite felt something in him break,his heart.[Name] had no idea what she was doing to him.The pain she was causing him.Wasn't he jus as good as the "real" Dave?He is still a real Dave,just not from this timeline.He said he would try to do the same as [Name] and find someone else.

    {He says he wants to as well but he is a liar.}

  He can't just let go of her like that!He truly loves her.But why can't she see it?Maybe she wants the other Dave and not him.He is in real pickle here.Like one of those movies where the main character like the girl,but she likes someone else,and then in the end the main character finally gets her.In Davesprites case that ending won't be happening.

        {I'll believe it all,there's nothing I won't understand.}

  [Name] was crying into Davesprite's shoulder.He held onto her as if he didn't she would vanish.
 
  "He didn't feel the same way,Dave." That was the first time she called him Dave in a long time.

 "That's because he's stupid." He told her.

  "I can understand that." She began to laugh softly.

        {I'll believe it all,I won't let go of your hand.}

  They all were dead or almost dead.[Name] was still hanging on to life.

  "Dave." She choked out.

 She could barely breathe.She was in so much pain.She left something touch her hand.She looked up to see Davesprite.She smile but then violently started to cough up blood.

 "I'm here." He held her hand.

  {Two birds on a wire.One says "C'mon!" and the other says "I'm tired."}

  "[Name] c'mon stay with me." He began to panic.

 She lazily looked up to him.

 "Dave.I'm tired." Her eyes closed.

Davesprite pick her up and laid his head over her heart.He listened to her heart beat until it stop.Tears were streaming doen his face.He looked at her.He gently put his lips onto her own.He whispered into her ear.

 "I love you."
